Sakura Does Akuma's Hair

I'm working on inking with a brush so I thought I'd do some fun fanart. So here's Sakura giving Akuma his trademark ponytail. Who knew she had such awesome hair skills!

Not entirely happy with this thing, but I had this idea on the way home from work and I wanted to mess with some face veins. I think I could have pushed the expressions a bit more, but it's okay for about two hours of work.

Extra Edition - Gouki

Gouki, or Akuma depending on your country, is one of my very favorite Street Fighters. Just love his character design. So with this little sketch I was trying out a new rendering style, all cell shading with just a big outline around the entire figure. Could be fun to see it animated.

Here's my submission for the UDON Street Fighter Tribute book.

Had a lot of fun. I think next time, I might try a different style, something more animated than painterly. I hope to pick up a copy either at Otakon or PAX. Can't wait to see the other pieces!
